Job summary

Uptime Industrial is seeking a Journeyperson Millwright to support our Lower Mainland projects. You will troubleshoot, repair, install, and upgrade mechanical systems across diverse sites, taking ownership from start to finish and working with a team of skilled trades.

Ideal candidates bring Red Seal Millwright certification, a valid Class 5 license, and a commitment to safety. Expect travel, on-site collaboration, and opportunities to mentor apprentices in a dynamic industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Red Seal Millwright certification is required.
• Experience with mechanical or industrial contracting environments is preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting, diagnostic, maintenance and repair skills.
• Ability to adapt to different customer sites, equipment and working environments.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence and reliable transportation are required.
• Own basic hand tools and approved safety footwear.
• Commitment to safe, high-quality workmanship and on-time delivery.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with customers, apprentices and other trades.

Responsibilities

• Travel to industrial sites throughout the Lower Mainland.
• Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, install, and upgrade mechanical equipment and systems.
• Take ownership of work from start to finish, ensuring it meets scope and quality standards.
• Communicate with customers, setting clear expectations throughout the job.
• Work independently and with other trades depending on project needs.
• Mentor apprentices when required and take lead in Foreman’s absence.
• Follow safety requirements and complete daily FLRAs.
