Andritz AG in Kentville, Nova Scotia, is seeking a Red Seal Millwright to join our maintenance team. The role focuses on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and installation of equipment in a manufacturing setting.

We provide 12-hour shifts with premiums, a comprehensive benefits program including group insurance and pension, and a strong safety culture. Apprenticeship consideration is welcome for growth within the team.

Formación

• Red Seal Millwright certification or apprentice considered.
• Troubleshoots and repairs malfunctioning equipment.
• Perform electrical and instrumentation repairs as needed.
• Conducts preventive maintenance inspections.
• Installs and modifies equipment as assigned.
• Lubricates and maintains all machines.
• Operates shop machining equipment to repair and fabricate.
• Completes service forms (MP2).
• Occasionally leads a crew on major projects.
• Adheres to safety rules and maintains good housekeeping.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoots and repairs malfunctioning equipment.
• Conducts electrical and instrumentation repairs within scope.
• Performs preventive maintenance inspections.
• Installs and modifies equipment as assigned.
• Lubricates and ensures proper lubrication of all machines.
• Operates shop machining equipment to repair and fabricate equipment.
• Reports completed work on service forms (MP2).
• Occasionally acts as crew leader on major projects.
• Works according to safety rules and maintains housekeeping.
• Performs special maintenance assignments as directed.
