Job summary

Qualifications

The Recruitment Coordinator will support and strengthen our hiring efforts across Canada, with a primary focus on our hospitality and entertainment venues. What You’ll Work On:

• Support interview and hiring activities for hourly and entry-level salaried roles across multiple venues.
• Coordinate job postings, interview scheduling, reference checks and offer documentation.
• Maintain candidate records and workflows in Asana and the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Assist with interview guides, scorecards and onboarding checklists.
• Support hiring managers with timely communication and a consistent candidate experience.
• Learn MRG’s recruitment processes, timelines, and hiring standards.
• Support MRG’s recruitment initiatives, including career fairs, hiring events and internship programs.

Ongoing – Grow & Contribute

• Lead high-volume hourly hiring, particularly for hospitality venue-based roles.
• Partner with HR and MRG U to support special programs, including internship programs.
• Support proactive hiring efforts by screening and reaching out to potential candidates.
• Support sourcing efforts and talent pipelines for recurring and hard-to-fill roles.
• Conduct phone and virtual candidate screens (training and support provided).
• Track and report recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire and candidate flow.
• Take on increased responsibility and ownership as experience and confidence grow.
• Partner with the HR team on identifying and executing initiatives towards continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For:

• 1–3 years of experience in recruitment, HR, coordination, or people operations.
• Experience supporting hourly, high-volume, or customer-facing roles is an asset.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple roles and priorities.
• Detail-oriented approach to managing documentation, scheduling logistics and candidate data.
• Clear, confident communication skills with candidates and internal stakeholders.
• Interest in building a longer-term career within recruitment.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, people-first environment.
• Experience within hospitality and customer service is considered an asset.
