Qualifications

• Smart Serve certificate is required.
• 1–3 years in Hospitality/F&B with leadership experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Track record of hiring, training and developing team members.
• Experience with POS and hospitality software (Square/OpenTable is a plus).

Responsibilities

You are a true hospitality professional at heart with a strong background in venue operations and know how to throw a party! You are passionate about creating positive shareable experiences for guests and team members alike and thrive working late nights and weekends.

The AGM will be responsible for creating positive shareable experiences for guests at Dublin Calling Danforth (Toronto), and driving business through community outreach.

What You'll Do:

Guest Experience & Event Execution

• Deliver excellent customer service to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction and repeat business.
• Host and execute events and parties, ensuring a vibrant, high-energy environment and positive, shareable experiences for guests.
• Collaborate with the sales team to fulfill service expectations for special events, including managing food service, staffing levels, and room set-up.
• Effectively address guest concerns in a fair, honest, and timely manner.

Operations & Financial Management

• Maintain top-notch service, safety, and cleanliness standards throughout the venue to achieve operational excellence.
• Oversee and strategize ways to improve financial performance while strictly adhering to brand standards.
• Maintain flexible availability to work weekends, holidays, late nights, and early morning shifts as required by venue operations.
• Foster a positive, fun, and inclusive work culture by motivating the team and cultivating an energetic environment.
• Create strong professional relationships across the organization, exhibiting empathy and respect for team members at all levels.
• Take ownership of staff training and development to ensure continuous growth and alignment with brand standards.

What We're Looking For:

• Valid Smart Serve Certificate required.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Hospitality/Food and Beverage industry, with an element of team leadership.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• A proven track record of hiring, training and developing engaging team members.
• Experience using POS and hospitality software systems - Square & OpenTable experience are an asset (training provided).
• Strong problem solving and organizational skills.
• Experience leading a team with the ability to coach, hire and support.
• Flexible evening, weekend, and holiday availability.
