Job summary

The MRG Group in Toronto, ON is seeking a Recruitment Coordinator to support our hiring efforts nationwide, with a focus on hospitality venues. You are organized, people-focused, and ready to deliver a positive candidate experience at scale in a fast-paced environment.

This is an early-career role designed to build recruitment processes, lead onboarding, and partner with HR to improve timelines and outcomes.

Qualifications

1–3 years of recruitment, HR, coordination, or people operations.
Experience supporting hourly, high-volume or customer-facing roles.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple roles and priorities.
Attention to detail and clear communication with candidates.
Interest in building a longer-term career in recruitment.
Comfort in a fast-paced, people-first environment.
Experience in hospitality or events is a plus.

Responsibilities

Support interview and hiring activities for hourly and entry-level roles across multiple venues.
Coordinate job postings, interview scheduling, reference checks and offer documentation.
Maintain candidate records and workflows in Asana and the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Assist with interview guides, scorecards and onboarding checklists.
Support hiring managers with timely communication and a consistent candidate experience.
Learn MRG’s recruitment processes, timelines, and hiring standards.
Support recruitment initiatives, including career fairs, hiring events and internship programs.
Lead high-volume hourly hiring, particularly for hospitality venue-based roles.
