Job summary

The County of Lennox & Addington is seeking a part-time recreation professional for the John M. Parrott Centre in Greater Napanee, ON.

You will design and implement resident-focused programs, coordinate activities with staff and volunteers, and help create an engaging, inclusive environment for residents. Qualifications include a diploma/degree in Recreation & Leisure Studies or related fields, and current Safe Food Handlers and First Aid/CPR certifications.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies, Therapeutic Recreation, Kinesiology, or a related field.
• Current Safe Food Handlers and First Aid/CPR certification.
• Courses in Gerontology and Restorative Care are assets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare engaging programs for residents.
• Facilitate programs and activities with meaningful participation.
• Document program delivery and outcomes; report results.
