Job summary

The Home Depot Canada is seeking a Receiving Associate in the Vancouver area to unload merchandise from carriers, verify quantities and quality, and enter details into the store system. A license to operate powered lift equipment is required to move freight and stock areas efficiently.

You will also stock merchandise, assist customers, and maintain a safe, organized receiving area while following procedures to ensure accurate deliveries for customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year receiving experience.

Responsibilities

• Unload merchandise from carriers and check quantity and quality.
• Enter information about incoming merchandise into the store system.
• Licensed to use powered lift equipment (e.g., electric pallet jack, reach truck, forklift).
• Stock merchandise onto shelves to achieve full in-stock levels.
• Assist customers and determine their needs.
