Job summary

The Home Depot is hiring a Receiving Associate to work with our team in the Edmonton area. You will unload merchandise, verify quantities and quality, and enter details into the store system using available tools.

You will read packing slips, match to orders, and ensure accurate stocking throughout the receiving area. You must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of receiving experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year receiving experience.
• Must be licensed to use powered lift equipment; forklift experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Unload merchandise from carriers and check quantity and quality.
• Read vendor packing slips and compare to purchase orders for accuracy.
• Unloading with designated equipment and stocking to correct locations.
• Identify damaged merchandise and take appropriate action.
• Maintain clean and safe receiving area and follow procedures.
