Job summary

The Home Depot Canada in Victoria, BC is seeking a Receiving Associate (full time) to unload shipments, verify counts, and input data into our systems. The role requires operating powered lift equipment and maintaining a clean, safe receiving area.

Responsibilities include receiving all inbound freight, identifying damaged items, stocking shelves, and assisting customers with project needs. Prior forklift experience is an asset and High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Receives, unloads merchandise and checks quantity/quality.
• Reads and compares packing slips and documents to purchase orders.
• Licensed to operate powered lift equipment (forklift, pallet jack, reach truck).
• Uses store systems to identify products and locations.

Responsibilities

• Receive Merchandise and follow receiving standards.
• Maintain and organize receiving area and equipment.
• Schedule deliveries and enter information into receiving system.
• Identify damaged merchandise and take appropriate action.
• Stock merchandise on shelves to ensure in-stock levels.
• Assist customers and respond to inquiries with product knowledge.
