Job summary

The Home Depot in Canada is seeking a Receiving Associate to unload freight, verify quantities and conditions, and enter data into the store system. The role includes operating powered lift equipment and supporting the fulfillment team to keep shelves stocked and ready for customers.

Responsibilities include measuring and counting incoming shipments, scanning packing slips, and helping customers with basic project guidance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year receiving experience.
• Must be licensed to use powered lift equipment (e.g., forklift)

Responsibilities

• Unload merchandise and manage receiving processes, including RGR/DGR and data entry into the stores’ system.
• Stock merchandise on shelves and maintain 100% in-stock levels.
• Assist customers by greeting them and determining their project needs.
• Schedule deliveries and pre-post information into the receiving system.
• Use store systems/tools to identify product, article, and vendor information.
