Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Receiving Associate to join the team. You will unload merchandise, verify inbound freight, and enter data into store systems, ensuring accurate receiving and efficient stocking. Emphasis on safety, attention to detail, and teamwork to support store operations.

Responsibilities include stocking merchandise, assisting with order picking when needed, and maintaining clean, organized receiving areas while communicating effectively with the Freight Team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Receiving experience preferred; forklift experience is an asset.
• Must be licensed to use powered lift equipment (pallet jack, reach truck, forklift).
• Attention to detail and ability to learn and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Unload merchandise using designated equipment.
• Verify inbound freight and compare to purchase orders.
• Enter receiving information into the store systems.
• Stock merchandise onto shelves to maintain 100% in stock.
• Maintain a safe, clean receiving area and follow safety practices.
• Assist with order picking when assigned and communicate stocking status.
