Job summary

The Home Depot Canada is seeking a Receiving Associate to unload and process inbound freight, ensure accuracy of shipments, and stock merchandise for customer satisfaction. You will operate lift equipment when unloading, follow strict receiving standards, and collaborate with the Fulfillment Team to maintain 100% in-stock items.

Qualified candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of receiving experience; forklift licensing is an asset.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year receiving experience.
• Licensed to operate powered lift equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack).

Responsibilities

• Understand carrier unload processes for efficient freight management.
• Follow receiving standards.
• Unload merchandise using designated equipment and stock areas.
• Identify and read packing slips and documents for accuracy.
• Schedule deliveries and enter data into the receiving system.
• Ensure product is stocked and accessible to customers.
