Job summary

Job description

Cornerstone Co-op invites applications for the position of Receiver to join our Home Centre team on a part-time (24 hours per week or more) basis at our location in St. Paul, AB. This position reports to the Hardware Manager.

What you’ll do:

• Engage and interact with member-owners and customers to provide outstanding Co-op experiences.

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.

• Unload, sort, and organize products in designated warehouse or storage areas.

• Record and update stock information in inventory management systems.

• Report discrepancies or damaged goods promptly to the appropriate team.

• Collaborate with the inventory control team to ensure accurate stock levels.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.

• Support other departments as required, including shipping and inventory management.

• Follow all safety standards, policies, and procedures.

• Work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays on a rotational basis.

• Demonstrate day-to-day behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen the Co‑operative's mission, values, brand and focus on safety.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• You have a Grade 12 education or a combination of relevant experience.

• Experience in a warehouse or receiving role is an asset.
