Job summary

Chartright Air Group is seeking a Line Service Technician to support ground operations for inbound and outbound flights, ensuring fleet readiness and assisting passengers. You’ll collaborate with Charter, Aircraft Maintenance and Facilities to provide crucial support.

Responsibilities include fueling, load/unload baggage, lavatory/water service, pre/post-flight assistance, and routine maintenance checks. Requires safety knowledge, independence, and a valid Ontario license; radio license

Qualifications

• High School graduate with post-secondary accreditation; related aviation courses are a plus.
• Knowledge of safety requirements in a maintenance/aviation environment.
• Self-starter capable of acting independently and proactively.
• Solid interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Ontario driver’s license with clean abstract required.
• Radio license preferred or obtainable in short term.
• RAIC and AVOP ability or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Support ground operations for inbound/outbound flights and assist with passenger needs.
• Ensure fleet readiness, assist departments, and maintain safety during operations.
• Support arrivals/departures, fuel handling, and aircraft security checks.
• Assist pilots with pre/post-flight services and routine checks.
• Oversee hangar, facility maintenance, and winter operations Support.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain documentation as required.

What You’ll Do:

Role Summary: As a Line Service Technician, you will be responsible for supporting ground operations for inbound and outbound flights.This includesmaintainingfleet readiness,assisting passengers and providing crucial support to other departments,Charter, Aircraft Maintenance andFacilities.

• Arrivals and Departures Support such as fuelaircraft, ensuringaircraftare chocked, locked and secure and Loading/unloading baggage
• Performaircraftlavatory and potable water service
• Assistpilots withaircraftpre-and post-flight services
• Check Facility and Fuel Equipment Maintenance
• Perform routine refueller and fuel farm checks
• Hangar and facility maintenance and cleaning
• Winter Operations Support such as De-Icing/Anti-Icing ofaircraftand Shoveling/Ploughing of immediate operations areas

What You Bring:

• High School graduate withpost-secondaryaccreditation. Courses related to the aviation industry will be considered an asset.
• Knowledge of safety requirements in a maintenance/aviation environment
• Self-starter, able to act independently and proactively
• Possess solid interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Ontario driver’s license with clean abstractrequired
• Radio license preferred or able to get one in the short term
• Possessor able toattaina Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC) and an Airside Vehicle Operators Permit (AVOP)

Hours Of Work

• 40 hoursof work per week; shift rotationscoverseven days per week as well as on statutory holidays.
• There might be “callouts” outside of regularly scheduled hours resulting in overtime pay.
