Job summary

Redpath Mining Contractors and Engineers is seeking a Raisebore Operator to direct and perform raisedrill operations, including setup, pilot hole drilling, and component installation. You will mentor an Assistant Raisebore Operator and ensure safe operation of equipment on site in Canada.

Travel and accommodation are provided per the work location; prior experience with raisedrills is preferred, with 1–2 years minimum and 3–5 years for more complex projects.

Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Some college in mechanical or trades is an asset.
• 1–2 years of experience operating raisedrills; 3–5 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and perform raisedrill operations including setup and drilling.
• Train and mentor less-experienced crew members in safe operation.
• Read engineering plans and assemble components for raises.
• Maintain a clean work site and manage spare parts inventory.
• Follow safety procedures to prevent equipment damage.
