Job summary

DMC Mining Services in Sudbury, Ontario is seeking a Raise Bore Helper on a contract basis to support the Raise Bore team in a safe, efficient operation. The role requires flexibility to travel to other project locations as needed.

Reporting to the Raise Bore Supervisor, you will perform pre-start checks, assist operators, and help maintain a clean work area while adhering to safety standards. A valid driver's license and underground experience are required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of underground experience in a similar role.
• Ontario MTCU Underground Hardrock Common Core modules or Diamond Drill Common Core.
• Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
• Sound knowledge, skills and experience in operation of machinery.
• Proven ability to recognize and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Able to work rotation, day, and night shifts as may be required.
• Able and willing to travel as required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience as a Diamond Drill Helper or Diamond Driller is an asset.
• Long Hole experience is an asset.

Additional Information:

• We are hiring to fill an existing vacancy.
• Hourly Range is expected to be between: $20 to $22 CAD + hourly incentive bonus.
