Job summary

Manroc Developments Inc. is seeking a Raise Leader to guide underground raise excavation projects using Alimak/Raise Climber equipment. You will construct mechanized raise set-ups, scale rock, drill, load, and blast while strictly following site procedures.

The role requires reading mine plans, coordinating daily underground activities, and clear communication with crew and supervisors. Strong leadership and safety commitment are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience operating Alimak/Raise Climber equipment.
• Strong understanding of underground mining safety procedures and best practices.

Job Summary

The Raise Leader is responsible for leading and participating in underground raise excavation projects using Alimak/Raise Climber equipment. Duties include constructing mechanized raise set‑ups, scaling loose rock, drilling, loading, and blasting, while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with site procedures.

This role requires the ability to read and interpret mine plans, coordinate daily underground activities, and communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to follow and relay written and verbal instructions in a fast‑paced underground mining environment.

Schedule & Site Information

• 14/14 rotation
• Rotating days and nights
• 11-hour shifts
• Camp accommodations provided
