Job summary

Autism Services seeks a Coordinator, Railcar Maintenance to support fleet reliability in Saskatoon. You will coordinate maintenance activities, monitor bad-order railcars, and work with railways, facilities, and internal teams to keep operations moving.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or Engineering and 3–5 years of related experience; travel and non-traditional hours may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate railcar maintenance activities to support fleet reliability and availability.
  • Monitor and track bad-order railcars, maintenance requirements, repair status, and fleet activity.
  • Coordinate maintenance priorities with railways, facilities, service providers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Support railcar movement and billing activities related to maintenance, repair, and refurbishment programs.
  • Maintain records, reports, and documentation to support planning, compliance, and decision-making.
  • Monitor work completion, follow up on outstanding activities, and support timely issue resolution.
  • Escalate issues that may impact fleet availability, maintenance performance, or operational objectives.

Job description

As a Coordinator, Railcar Maintenance youll:
  • Coordinate railcar maintenance activities to support fleet reliability and availability.
  • Monitor and track bad-order railcars, maintenance requirements, repair status, and fleet activity using operational systems and reporting tools.
  • Coordinate maintenance priorities and work progress with railways, maintenance facilities, service providers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Support railcar movement and billing activities related to maintenance, repair, and refurbishment programs.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation to support planning, compliance, and decision-making.
  • Monitor work completion, follow up on outstanding activities, and support timely issue resolution.
  • Escalate issues that may impact fleet availability, maintenance performance, or operational objectives.
You’ll bring:
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or Engineering, with three to five years of related experience.
  • Experience working in a safety-sensitive, industrial, or transportation environment is considered an asset.
  • Ability to travel and work non-traditional business hours as required.
