Job summary

LeestaIndustries, now part of PursuitAerospace, seeks a senior quality leader to oversee QA, QC, inspection, and quality systems in aerospace manufacturing.

You will lead internal, customer, and certification audits, drive corrective actions, and partner with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain to resolve issues and improve performance. Fluency in French and English and AS9100 knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of quality leadership experience in aerospace manufacturing.
• Experience managing quality teams in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100 and aerospace quality systems.
• Experience leading internal and external audits.
• Experience with corrective actions and root cause analysis.
• Fluency in both French and English (spoken and written).

• Serve as primary quality representative with customers, certification bodies, suppliers, and regulatory agencies.
• Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and quality ownership.

Provide leadership, coaching, and development to a multidisciplinary team responsible for quality assurance, quality control, inspection, and quality systems;

Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain to resolve quality issues and support manufacturing performance;

Oversee supplier quality, inspection activities, and process validation, including FAI and APQP/PPAP;

Monitor quality performance metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and communicate results to senior leadership;

Serve as the primary quality representative with customers, certification bodies, suppliers, and regulatory agencies;

Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and quality ownership across the organization.

Job qualifications

7+ years of quality experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment.

Leadership experience managing quality teams within a manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of AS9100 and aerospace quality systems.

Experience leading internal and external audits.

Experience with audits, corrective actions, and root cause analysis.

Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Fluency in both French and English (spoken and written) is required.
