Position: Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Supervisor

Type: Full Time Permanent

Location: Montréal, QC

We are seeking a Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Supervisor to oversee our systems, manage continuous improvement programs, and aim for zero incidents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct quality audits to ensure successful ISO and 5S certification audits, along with other client audits.
  • Hold regular meetings with Canadian platform factory QA managers to promote best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Manage the Quality Incident Response (QIR) process, including notifications and reporting to senior management.
  • Oversee incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Maintain and update the Business Continuity Plan and coordinate emergency responses.
  • Establish corporate reporting on quality KPIs, metrics, and results.
  • Train internal auditors on quality protocols.
  • Discuss incidents and preventive measures with clients.
  • Act as the alternate Privacy Officer for the Canadian platform.
  • Train employees on quality protocols and contractual obligations.
  • Maintain the Health and Safety Program, including procedures, reviews, revisions, and monitoring safety systems.
  • Process ergonomic studies, manage accident claims, and conduct internal audits.
  • Benchmark best practices to create efficiencies in Health and Safety.
  • Review company reports and trends to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Recommend measures to reduce risks and prevent injuries.
Requirements
  • Experience managing quality programs; ISO and 5S preferred.
  • Experience in a KPI-driven environment.
  • Knowledge of Canadian environmental, health, and safety legislation.
  • Expertise in workers' compensation claims management and cost reduction.
  • Ability to secure management support for initiatives.
  • Post-secondary degree in health and safety; relevant certifications preferred.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing preferred.
  • Understanding of privacy legislation and customer requirements.
  • Ability to explain security and data flow concepts clearly.
  • Knowledge of technology used for variable data printing/digital formats.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Bilingual in English and French required.
