Job summary

Panelmatic is seeking a Quality Manager to join RIC Power Corp, our sister company in Burnaby, BC. You will lead all aspects of the Quality function, ensuring alignment with the company vision, managing the QMS and driving continuous improvement.

The role oversees the QA/QC team and is responsible for product acceptance testing, audits, and KPI reporting, with opportunities to influence design and manufacturing quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality, or a related technical field is required.
• Minimum five years of experience in a QA/QC leadership role in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001 and related standards; experience leading or maintaining certification is required.
• Familiarity with ERP and quality management software systems is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall product and process quality (QA/QC) for the plant.
• Directly manage the QC team ensuring adequate coverage and competency for test/inspection activities.
• Maintain and improve test procedures and checklists reflecting current designs and lessons learned.
• Supervise quality department personnel and drive training/development to meet quality goals.
• Develop and maintain the Plant QMS in line with ISO-9001 and other standards.
• Conduct internal audits and management reviews; drive corrective actions.
