Job summary

Sabre LTD in Calgary is seeking a detail-oriented Electrical & Panel QA/QC Inspector to join our team. You will inspect, test, and verify electrical panels, assemblies, and integrated systems to ensure they meet engineering requirements, customer specifications, and applicable codes.

Working closely with production, engineering, and project teams, you will identify non-conformances, document corrective actions, and support Sabre's Quality Management System.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Electrician certification is required.
• Experience in QA/QC for electrical manufacturing and panel fabrication.
• Strong knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, P&IDs, specifications, and BOMs.
• Experience conducting inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and quality verification of electrical systems and components.
• Proficiency with MS Office and quality documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform QA/QC inspections and testing of fabricated electrical systems and components.
• Verify workmanship, installation, wiring, labeling, and assembly against approved drawings and specifications.
• Confirm compliance with project requirements, customer standards, and applicable electrical codes.
• Identify, document, and track non-conformances and corrective actions.
• Complete inspection reports, checklists, calibration records, and quality documentation packages.
• Maintain inspection and testing equipment, ensuring calibration requirements are met.
• Provide technical clarification and quality-related support to production teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within Sabre's Quality Management System (QMS).
• Support the training and mentoring of production and QA personnel as required.
