ESC Corporate Services Ltd. in Toronto, Ontario is seeking a skilled QA Analyst to join our software testing team. You will design and execute test cases, validate requirements, and ensure quality across multi-component systems including SOAP and REST APIs.

Collaborating with Business Analysts, Developers, and other QA Analysts, you will identify risks, track defects, and contribute to comprehensive documentation and reports, helping us deliver reliable solutions for clients nationwide.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in CS/IT or a related field with 3–5 years of QA experience.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience testing SOAP web services and REST APIs.
• Experience with test automation tools is an asset.
• Ability to deliver quality documentation and reports (test plans, test cases, bug tracking).

What you’ll do:

• Review requirements and design documentation to identify test conditions, potential gaps, risks, and appropriate test coverage.
• Create and maintain comprehensive test cases based on business and technical requirements.
• Perform testing across complex, multi-component systems, including functional, regression, integration, and non-functional tests, as required.
• Test integrations and APIs, including SOAP web services and REST APIs.
• Investigate, reproduce, document, and track software defects reported internally or externally, providing clear information to support resolution.
• Validate defect fixes through retesting and appropriate regression testing.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, other QA Analysts, and project stakeholders to ensure appropriate test coverage and quality.

Knowledge & Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field combined with 3-5 years of software testing or quality assurance experience. (An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience testing SOAP web services and REST APIs.
• Ability to deliver quality documentation & reports – status reports, test plans, test cases, bug tracking reports and risk assessments.
• Experience with test automation tools or frameworks, including creating, executing, or maintaining automated tests is an asset.
