Base pay range

CA$65,000.00/yr - CA$75,000.00/yr

Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Quality Assurance Analyst to join their team on a one-year contract. Responsibilities

• Create, manage, and execute test cases to ensure business requirements are met and products are free from defects, using techniques such as functional, exploratory, and regression testing.
• Identify, document, report, and track defects found during testing, ensuring timely resolution.
• Assist in the development and execution of automated test scripts and contribute to maintaining the test automation framework.
• Work closely with the QA Lead to design test plans that align with project goals and requirements.
• Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, and peers to deliver high-quality software in an Agile environment.
• Provide regular status updates on test progress, results, risks, and any relevant issues to the QA Lead and management.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 2 years focused on automation testing.
• Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium and TestNG.
• Proficiency in programming with languages like C# or Java.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Experience in testing web applications and across multiple devices.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a variety of teams and stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience with API testing using tools like Postman.
• Understanding of SQL queries for basic database testing.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum) and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
