Role Overview

Our client is seeking a French-Speaking QA Analyst to support multiple technology projects across its Insurance portfolio. This role will focus primarily on manual/functional testing and French-language validation of customer-facing, advisor-facing and internal applications.

The successful candidate will ensure that French functionality is accurately implemented and provides the same quality and user experience as the English version. This is an excellent opportunity for a QA professional who combines strong manual testing capabilities with fluent French communication skills.

The role is well suited to an intermediate-level QA professional; extensive automation experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual functional testing across multiple applications and projects.
• Validate French-language functionality, content, workflows and user experiences.
• Read, understand and execute test cases in both English and French.
• Identify, document and track defects through resolution.
• Perform regression, functional, integration and user-acceptance support testing as required.
• Work with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners and business stakeholders to understand requirements and expected outcomes.
• Validate customer-facing and advisor-facing applications across web and other channels.
• Support testing for insurance, wealth and branch-related applications.
• Ensure French functionality meets business requirements and quality standards.
• Create and maintain test scenarios, test cases and test evidence.
• Use Jira and other QA/testing tools to manage defects and testing activities.
• Support multiple projects concurrently and adapt to changing priorities.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA/testing experience, preferably within a structured enterprise environment.
• Strong hands-on manual QA / functional testing experience.
• Fluent French — must be able to read, write, speak and understand French at a professional level.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Experience with test case creation, execution, defect management and regression testing.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify language, functional and usability issues.
• Ability to work across multiple projects and collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within banking, financial services or insurance.
• Insurance industry experience is particularly valuable.
• Experience testing customer-facing or advisor-facing applications.
• Experience with test automation.
• Exposure to Python and Playwright.
• Experience with Jira and other enterprise QA/test management tools.
• Familiarity with financial services or insurance terminology in French.
