Job summary

CoFoMo Inc. is seeking a senior analyst with 7–10 years of banking experience to translate business needs into detailed specifications and user stories. You will document business rules, define integration flows, and work with architects to implement event-driven solutions.

The role requires advanced SQL skills, strong data analysis, and experience with Jira/Confluence in an Agile setting. French work in Canada is common, with English for documentation and communication.

Job description

Here is a brief overview of the tasks and responsibilities:

• Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications (FSDs) and user stories;
• Document and obtain approval of the business rules applicable to the different types of agreements;
• Define integration flows, interface contracts, and event delivery mechanisms with architects;
• Configure the platform according to business rules and data model settings;
• Develop functional testing strategies and coordinate UAT activities;
• Produce the deliverables for analysis, data mapping, API contracts, and error handling;
• Contribute to incremental delivery in an Agile environment;
• Standardize analysis artifacts across the team.

The profile we are looking for is as follows:

• Have between seven (7) and ten (10) years of experience in the banking industry;
• Proficiency in SQL at an advanced level;
• Use Jira and Confluence tools effectively;
• Understand the principles and operation of REST APIs;
• Be able to analyze complex systems in various business and technological contexts;
• Understanding event-driven architectures;
• Have experience with API validation tools (Asset);
• Experience with event messaging tools (Asset);
• Be able to query and analyze relational databases in an investigative context (Asset).

This position requires working primarily in French, while requiring a functional command of English for daily tasks. This English proficiency is essential to understand documentation and ensure professional communication with customers, suppliers, and colleagues across Canada.
