Responsibilities

• Exude a positive, cheerful, team‑orientated, and welcoming environment for customers and teammates.
• Provide and communicate the daily sales goals to all team members as set out by the Store Leader.
• Help, drive, motivate, and encourage the retail sales team to achieve sales targets.
• Create a respectful, inclusive and positive work environment at all times.
• Ensure that store merchandising follows 5Buds cannabis standards at all times, merchandising items to approved themes, keeping product pricing on display cabinets updated.
• Ensure the store operates at 100% compliance with all SLGA regulations.
• Provide constructive feedback, both celebrating successes and addressing non‑compliance with company or regulatory policies.
• Provide direction for team members during downtime to keep the environment productive and efficient.
• Ensure the dress code of team members is polished, professional and compliant with 5Buds Cannabis standards.
• Complete invoices and related paperwork promptly, accurately, and in compliance with policy.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding pricing, financial and marketing strategies, and HR information.
• Support team members through on‑the‑job training.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the store.
• Lead daily opening and closing procedures of the store and any other tasks required to meet operational needs.
• Remain adaptable and implement new directives from the head office.
• Follow time and attendance procedures so employees are ready for their scheduled shifts.
