Job summary

Value Buds is seeking a motivated Keyholder to join our cannabis retail team. You will lead by example, guide customers, and support store operations during shifts.

You’ll manage the POS, assist with merchandising, ensure ID checks and compliance, and help restock inventory while delivering exceptional service. Prior retail or hospitality experience, a cannabis certification, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Retail or hospitality experience required.
• Strong communication and a customer-first attitude.
• Cannabis selling certification required (Selling It Right, SellSafe, CRTP, CRWTP or CanSell).
• Minimum age based on province (19+ for Ontario).
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Eligible to pass a Criminal Record Check.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming experience for every customer.
• Provide product recommendations and cannabis education.
• Support daily operations including merchandising and store upkeep.
• Operate the POS, handle payments, and issue receipts.
• Restock shelves, receive deliveries, and complete basic inventory checks.

About The Role

We’re looking for a motivated and dependable Keyholder to join our team. As a Keyholder, you’ll be the face of our brand, providing exceptional service while helping customers navigate the exciting world of cannabis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading by example, taking ownership during their shifts, and supporting both customers and teammates in a fast‑paced setting.

What You’ll Do
