Job summary

Jaylor Fabricating, located in Ontario, is seeking a Prototype and Building Maintenance team member to blend prototyping with hands-on maintenance. The role supports our beef and dairy equipment manufacturing and ongoing product improvements.

Qualifications

  • Prototyping experience is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years welding experience (MIG) preferred.
  • Hydraulic and electrical experience.
  • Must have a strong mechanical aptitude and be a self-starter who can work well with limited supervision.
  • Assembly experience is preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to “think on your feet.”
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • An eye for detail.
  • A desire to learn.
  • Knowledge of farm equipment is an asset.
  • Physical requirements include standing for long periods of time, lifting 50 pounds, and bending.

  • Fabricating by applying appropriate welding techniques.
  • Testing and calibrating parts, equipment and mechanisms using various methods to meet and verify tolerances and product specifications.

Hours: Here at Jaylor you would be working day shifts, in-office, Monday through Thursday 7:00am – 4:30pm & Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm

Pay: $31.00 – 36.00 per hour (We offer competitive wages based on skill and experience)

Work Location: This role requires you to work in person at our main location, located at 071213 10th Line, Orton ON. Onsite parking is available for all employees.
