City Build Recruitment is working on behalf of a leading client in the Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) sector to find a dynamic Proposal Specialist to join their Calgary office.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and strategic thinker who thrives in deadline-driven environments and enjoys collaborating with technical teams to produce standout proposals.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop, write, and design compelling responses to RFPs, RFQs, and EOIs in alignment with brand and strategy.

Collaborate closely with business development, marketing, and technical teams to gather content.

Design visually engaging proposals using Adobe InDesign layouts, infographics, and custom graphics.

Maintain and enhance content libraries and templates.

Support interview preparation materials and client-facing collateral.

Manage multiple deadlines while upholding quality and consistency.

What Were Looking For :

35+ years of proposal development experience within an AEC or related professional services environment.

Advanced Adobe InDesign skills you know how to create and edit graphics, and you take pride in beautiful layouts.

Strong writing and editing abilities, with a sharp eye for detail.

A warm, collaborative, and proactive personality someone whos a pleasure to work with under pressure.

Knowledge of the AEC sectors proposal process and terminology is essential.
