Now Hiring: Proposal Manager

Location: Toronto

Purpose And Scope Of Position

Dumas is a leading full-service mining contractor operating in the Americas, serving some of the world's largest mining companies. The Proposal Manager coordinates proposal preparation, serves as the main contact for proposal activities, and guides style and formatting.

Specific Duties And Responsibilities

1. Act as primary client contact for tender requests and clarifications.
2. Coordinate retrieval and delivery of electronic tender submissions.
3. Manage proposal development process and update opportunity forecasts.
4. Track proposal success and maintain related databases.
5. Ensure compliance with RFP, ROI, RFQ, and coordinate proposal deliverables.
6. Support Business Development with proposal content, presentations, and documentation.
7. Serve as the main point for proposal writing activities and style guidance.
8. Manage proposal team, assign sections, and oversee deadlines.
9. Edit and refine proposals for clarity, responsiveness, and compliance.
10. Manage production and timely delivery of proposals.

Competencies, Skills And Knowledge

Technical Competencies

• Degree in business, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years experience in proposal coordination, preferably in mining or construction.
• Strong computer skills, including MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.
• Excellent written communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under deadlines.
