Strategy and Proposals Specialist (Remote)

As a Strategy & Proposals Specialist, you’ll play a key role in bringing talent-facing initiatives to life while gaining hands-on exposure to real business challenges. You’ll work closely with internal Talent & Culture Consultants, the Content & Studio Team, and Project Managers to analyze, develop, and contribute to strategic solutions for our clients.

What You’ll Do

You’re a consultant at heart, someone who thrives on problem-solving, breaking down complex challenges, and crafting actionable solutions that drive meaningful change. You’ll collaborate in the development and delivery of strategic solutions, including:

  • Crafting solution-based proposals for enterprise-level client engagements in any or all of our areas of expertise
  • Partnering with the Business Development team to identify new opportunities, develop proposals, and support in presentation of pitches
  • Developing strategic presentations, models, and frameworks, embedding thought leadership, mobilizing internal and external resources, and managing budgets
  • Work independently and/or as part of a team to deliver a range of activities, including but not limited to:
    • Conducting research and participant/stakeholder interviews
    • Facilitating focus groups
    • Developing solution strategy
    • Creating insight reports
    • Developing, designing and/or delivering various types of client workshops
    • Persona development
    • Articulation of EVP/Values and other strategic domains
    • Participating in expression work
    • Activation or launch plans
    • And a range of other related activities.
  • Building strong client relationships to drive satisfaction, internal referrals, and new business opportunities
Experience, Knowledge and Skills Required
  • Strong business acumen, acquired in a business school setting as well as having worked and/or interned in a business environment
  • General knowledge and understanding of organizational structure and dynamics
  • Able to clarify complex information and identify value propositions and differentiators
  • A strategic and analytical mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident, proactive, able to interact with all levels of management and business professionals
  • You are comfortable managing tight deadlines
  • Personal integrity, discretion and a strong client service orientation is essential
  • Demonstrated self-starter and highly motivated to handle a fast-paced environment
  • A team player who also works well independently
Must Haves

In addition to the Experience, Knowledge and Skills described above, youMUST have the following:

  • University graduate with a business focus or in your final year of a business degree with expected graduation in May 2025
  • Previous internship and/or experience (1 to 2 years) in an organizational setting
  • Demonstrated knowledge of or interest in and appreciation for complex Human Resources topics
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Experience with SharePoint and Project Management software would be nice to have
