Position Overview

The Proposal Manager supports external customers by managing complex bid proposals, identifying pricing strategies, training sales engineers, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead strategy on medium to large complex bid proposals.
  2. Identify strategic pricing opportunities for customers.
  3. Train new Technical Sales Engineers.
  4. Support sales activities, track orders, and monitor delivery status.
  5. Assess opportunities, prepare quotations, and interact with supply chain partners.
  6. Follow up on quotes and leads with customers.
  7. Review sales orders for accuracy and coordinate with project teams.
  8. Coordinate with various departments to monitor ongoing orders.
  9. Attend trade shows, industry events, and customer visits.
  10. Travel as required, with expenses reimbursed.
  11. Research industry trends and support other departments as needed.
Qualifications
  • Technical Degree/Diploma, preferably in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5+ years in customer support or technical sales.
  • Ability to interpret drawings and technical specs.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Outgoing, technical, quick learner, flexible, detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, independently and in teams.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $63,000 - $98,000/year, based on experience and market factors. Additional benefits include incentives, medical, retirement, and other plans. Details provided upon offer.
