Job summary

CLV Group seeks a Property Operations Supervisor to manage daily operations across multiple residential properties, ensuring safety, maintenance, and efficiency. The role coordinates in-house staff and contractors and liaises with Property Managers on resident concerns and budgets.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in property operations, strong knowledge of building systems, and is proficient in MS Office. Bilingual English/French is a valued asset for this Montreal area position.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in property operations, facilities management, residential property management, or a similar role.
• Experience with general residential construction and building repairs.
• Strong knowledge of building maintenance and mechanical systems.
• Experience supervising employees and managing contractors.
• Excellent organizational, time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple properties, projects, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Yardi property management software is considered an asset.
• Familiarity with applicable residential tenancy legislation is considered an asset.
• English and French communication skills are considered a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily property operations, maintenance, cleanliness, safety, and overall building condition.
• Conducting regular inspections to identify deficiencies, safety concerns, and required repairs.
• Coordinating preventative maintenance and repairs to building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, elevators, fire protection, and security systems.
• Managing and supervising work performed by in-house maintenance staff and outside contractors.
• Coordinating contractors and vendors for repairs, inspections, maintenance, and building improvement projects.
• Working closely with Property Managers to address operational and resident concerns.
• Ensuring properties comply with applicable building codes, regulations, and health and safety requirements.
• Reviewing quotations, invoices, and project costs while supporting operating and capital budgets.
• Responding to building emergencies and coordinating appropriate resources when required.
• Performing all other duties as requested.

More Information

• Must have a valid driver's licence and own vehicle,
• Must be able to travel between properties as required;
