Homestead Land Holdings Limited in Toronto, ON is seeking a Property Manager Trainee to develop skills in managing residential buildings within a branch. You will supervise staff and ensure day-to-day operations stay on schedule and within budgets while focusing on resident satisfaction.

The role requires a Bachelor Degree or Diploma, excellent communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. A valid vehicle and willingness to be on-call for emergencies are preferred.

• No experience is required, however, experience in a supervisory or management role is an asset
• Knowledge of Property Management procedures/law is an asset

Responsibilities

• Manage staff in the performance of their day-to-day responsibilities
• Foster positive working relationships with and among reporting staff
• Responsible for managing NOI and CAPEX budget in your portfolio
• Ensure that your portfolio is operating safely and efficiently
• Ensure that accurate, timely, and complete documentation is maintained
• Analyze monthly financial statements
• Be available Monday to Friday during the day as well as on call for emergency situations
• Other responsibilities as required

Hours: Full-time, plus emergency on-call
Compensation Range: $70,000

As a Property Manager Trainee at Homestead, you will be developing the skills to manage the residential operation of a portfolio of buildings in your branch.
