Responsibilities

• Cleaning/Maintenance: Ensure cleanliness of common areas & corridors
• Cleaning/Maintenance: Prepare apartments for new residents
• Cleaning/Maintenance: Facilitate work orders and perform minor maintenance in plumbing & electrical
• Cleaning/Maintenance: Other grounds maintenance
• Cleaning/Maintenance: Address tenant concerns effectively and promptly
• Cleaning/Maintenance: Maintain positive relations with tenants
• Cleaning/Maintenance: Show vacant apartments to prospective residents
• Cleaning/Maintenance: Collect and record incoming rents
• Cleaning/Maintenance: Serve legal documents as needed
• Cleaning/Maintenance: Rent upcoming suites and complete required documentation
• Safety: Ensure resident safety and security at all times
• Safety: Respond appropriately and professionally to emergencies
• Safety: Maintain fire safety logs and winter logs
• General: Follow an 'on-call' schedule

Overview

As a Building Manager at Homestead, you will oversee the daily operations of the building, ensuring it is well maintained, efficiently managed, and welcoming for residents and visitors. This role involves coordinating maintenance activities, supporting tenant relations, handling administrative duties, and ensuring a welcoming, well managed environment for residents and visitors.

Responsibilities:

Cleaning/Maintenance

• Ensure cleanliness of common areas & corridors
• Prepare apartments for new residents
• Facilitate work orders and perform minor maintenance in plumbing & electrical
