The Property Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of residential rental properties efficiently and effectively, providing the highest level of customer service to residents and owners. Operate within our standards of safety, quality customer service, and operational efficiency.

Main Responsibilities and Activities:
  1. Actively contribute to team objectives
  2. Accept shared responsibility and ownership of projects
  3. Involve others in decision-making and work towards consensus
  4. Respect and tolerate individual differences
  5. Acknowledge and resolve conflicts openly
Management of Staff:
  • Supervise and manage administrative and operational staff at your properties
  • Ensure effective performance management of staff
Customer Service Relations:
  • Maintain high levels of customer service for residents and owners
  • Communicate effectively with residents and external parties
  • Address concerns promptly and thoroughly
  • Manage resident functions to foster respect and goodwill
  • Focus on resident retention
  • Handle complaints promptly and appropriately
Administration:
  • Monitor rent collections, ensure statutory compliance, and communicate with residents regarding rent
  • Organize eviction processes if necessary
  • Approve invoices and rental applications
  • Maintain accurate management reports
  • Prepare yearly budgets
Building Maintenance:
  • Adhere to management standards, legislative requirements, safety, and emergency procedures
  • Conduct inspections and note deficiencies
  • Schedule and coordinate maintenance and service contracts
  • Conduct regular inspections of common areas
Team Leadership:

Support and lead the Residential Property Management Team, proposing process improvements.

Scope:
  • Report to the Vice President of Residential Operations
  • Collaborate with other managers and the property accountant
Experience Required:
  • Minimum three years in residential property management or related field
  • Support company values of honesty, integrity, respect, trust
  • Strong management, leadership, communication, organizational, and computer skills
  • Professional image and motivation to grow
  • Knowledge of maintenance, vendor relations, and contracts
  • High stress tolerance
Special Requirements:
  • Willingness to be on call and work irregular hours
