Role Designation:

Remote

The Property and Subrogation Claims Manager role supports the achievement of ACG’s short- and long-term Mission, Vision, and Strategic objectives. It is accountable for supporting Claim strategies and programs to achieve maximum results and efficiencies through report analysis, quality assurance work, and training delivery.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide support, guidance, leadership, and motivation to promote maximum performance in property claims and subrogation.
  • Foster an environment that promotes best-in-class customer service.
  • Implement best practices aligned with company goals.
  • Determine and delegate claims settlement authority to claims representatives.
  • Prepare executive reports and analysis according to standards and processes.
  • Provide technical guidance on claim investigation, reserving evaluation, and resolution.
  • Partner with analytical teams to produce results and trending reports for leadership.
  • Evaluate, handle, and adjust property or other claims from members and claimants.
  • Manage daily claims production operations.
  • Collaborate with Claims and business leaders on enterprise initiatives.
  • Set performance standards and communicate job expectations to staff.
  • Monitor and track performance against productivity and quality metrics.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and recommend modifications to quality and severity initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements and recommend process improvements.
  • Contribute to industry and government organizations to influence claim practices positively.
Qualifications:
  • AMF License Required
  • CIP/FCIP designation is an asset
  • 10+ years of experience in property claims
  • Understanding of legal principles across jurisdictions
  • 2-3 years of management experience
  • Experience in training and coaching
  • Advanced communication skills
