What is the opportunity?

As an RBC Home Advisor, you will participate in the evolution of a new role in Canadian Banking. You will nurture and grow relationships with potential home buyers as you provide tailored guidance and support throughout their home buying journey. As an RBC ambassador, your primary directive is to add value by acting as the client’s primary contact and gateway to RBC colleagues and partners who, with your lead, will help bring clients closer to realizing their home-ownership goals. Leverage your credit knowledge and relationship building expertise to create meaningful experiences that drive a high degree of client satisfaction and loyalty.

What will you do?

  1. Provide professional credit advice to assist clients while navigating the multiple stages of the home buying journey, which begins with contacting leads generated through online home journey tools such as True Home Affordability.
  2. Provide professional advice and education, including addressing complex credit scenarios such as leveraging existing home equity, switch ins, and all RBC mortgage programs.
  3. Support full end-to-end mortgage fulfillment leveraging Casper and Linx.
  4. Establish a regular contact strategy and diligently update systems that enable relationship management.
  5. Deepen client relationships by guiding clients through the stages of the home buying journey: awareness, research, validation of home equity financing options, and decision-making for mortgage applications.
  6. Use innovative tools such as video capabilities, screen sharing, and dashboards to enhance the client experience.
  7. Develop strong partner relationships to support mortgage referrals and application fulfillment.
  8. Identify growth opportunities and make warm introductions to RBC partners.
  9. Stay updated on RBC policies and ensure due diligence.

Please note: This position requires flexibility to work various shifts during Monday to Saturday hours, including evenings and weekends.

What do you need to succeed?

  • 2-3 years of proven experience in processing end-to-end mortgage fulfillment, including providing complex credit advice.
  • 5 years of experience in financial services.
  • A flexible and client-focused mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and loyalty.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Digital literacy across devices.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to work independently in a home office with proper technology and confidentiality.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in relationship management within financial or service industries.
  • Desire to deliver exceptional multi-channel client experiences.

We offer a comprehensive rewards program, development opportunities, a dynamic team environment, and world-class training in financial services.
