Description

The experienced multi-residential Property Manager will report to the Assistant VP of Operations and be responsible for the operation of a portfolio of buildings in our London, ON branch. You will lead your team to ensure day-to-day operations are on schedule and within prescribed budgets. You will make strategic decisions at the applicable properties to ensure optimal operations. An essential requirement is to be proficient in cost management while maintaining a high level of tenant satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop your team, ensuring high performance in daily tasks
• Conduct regular site inspections and develop action plans to meet company expectations
• Drive NOI growth through revenue management and cost controls
• Plan, budget, tender, and implement capital expenditure plans
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of your portfolio
• Liaise with the Legal department on resident matters
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation
• Review, analyze, and report on financial statements
• Develop and implement leasing strategies in collaboration with the Leasing & Marketing departments
• Maintain on-call availability for emergencies
• Perform other responsibilities as required

Requirements

• Experience in residential high-rise property management
• Previous management experience
• Bachelor degree/diploma from a recognized university or college
• Knowledge of building construction, HVAC, fire, safety, and mechanical systems (asset)
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong leadership and people skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with conflicting priorities
• Driven to meet targets within deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in computer and related technologies
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
