Job summary

Stingray is seeking a dynamic marketing professional for our Kelowna, BC team. You will support promotion campaigns, prizes, events, and on-site activations for K96.3 and New Country 100.7 while creating engaging social and digital content.

You will lead a small team of brand ambassadors and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver compelling promotions and reports. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years marketing experience (remote broadcast experience is a plus).
• Experience dealing with the public is needed.
• Detail oriented with strong time management.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate promotional, sales and programming campaigns for K96.3 and New Country 100.7.
• Manage and maintain promotional prizes and oversee winner fulfillment.
• Organize station events and on-site activations (concerts, trade shows, live broadcasts).
• Create and manage social and digital content; support listener contests and promotions.
• Oversee hiring, coaching and supervision of brand ambassadors; participate in meetings and brainstorms.
• Produce wrap-up reports for events and campaigns; assist in graphic design for promotions.
• Oversee station vehicle maintenance and related duties.

Job description

We are currently looking for a multi-skilled talent to join our Kelowna, BC team! This position reports to the Marketing and Promotions Director in Kamloops.

Your day-to-day

• Assist in the coordination of promotional, sales and programming campaigns for K96.3 and New Country 100.7
• Manage and maintain promotional prizes and oversee the winner fulfillment process
• Assist in organizing station events (i.e., trips, grand prize giveaways, movie premieres)
• On-site activations (i.e., concerts, trade shows, on-air cut ins, live broadcasts, community events)
• Create, maintain, and manage social and digital content
• Support listener contests, databases, and station promotions
• Attend and actively participate in weekly meetings and station planning.
• Weekly production tasks
• Oversee the hiring, coaching and supervision of brand ambassadors
• Attend and participate in weekly meetings and brainstorms
• Creating wrap up reports for station events, promotions and campaigns
• Assist in the creation of graphic designs for station and promotional initiatives
• Overseeing station vehicle maintenance
• Other duties as assigned.

Your Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years marketing experience, remote broadcast experience is an asset
• Experience in dealing with the public
• Detail-oriented
• Multi-tasker with excellent time management skills
• Great team player - you thrive in a collaborative environment
• You know that radio isn't a 9-5 business, and have the flexibility to make projects happen whenever they need to happen
• A valid driver's license and a clean driver's abstract
