Job description

The Project Manager, Engineering manages projects at the Weston Facility. The successful candidate will report to the National Senior Manager, Engineering.

Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless project execution.
  2. Ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
  3. Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  4. Ensure resource availability and proper allocation.
  5. Create a detailed project plan to track progress.
  6. Use verification techniques to manage changes in scope, schedule, and costs.
  7. Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
  8. Report and escalate issues to management as needed.
  9. Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  10. Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  11. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Qualifications

  1. University degree in engineering or a related discipline (preferred).
  2. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (required).
  3. Minimum of 3-5 years in project management experience.
  4. Technical expertise in facilities, processes, and machinery used in the beverage industry is an asset.
  5. 5+ years of operations or maintenance experience (preferred).
  6. Beverage, processing, and/or packaging experience (preferred).
