Job summary

Raise is currently hiring a Project Manager on behalf of our client. The role is based in Vancouver or Burnaby, BC, with an expected onsite presence of about 2 days per week under a hybrid work model.

The position focuses on coordinating mitigation measures with First Nations under the Environment Manager, owning workstreams, and driving cross-functional collaboration to meet milestones and deliverables for a complex capital project.

Qualifications

  • Five (5) years or more of direct project management experience or equivalent support roles.
  • Experience with reviewing, interpreting, and working with complex contract language and documentation.
  • Experience supporting high-consequence projects with strong governance, tracking, and follow-up.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication tailored for a corporate environment.

Responsibilities

  • Agreement coordination: lead drafting, review, and revision of mitigation measures with First Nations and related documents.
  • Stakeholder engagement with NCTL, Legal, Indigenous Relations, Environment, Finance, and external counsel.
  • Project tracking and control: maintain trackers, schedules, action logs, and document control processes.
  • Progress reporting on agreements, mitigation, milestones, dependencies, decisions, and actions.
  • Facilitation of working sessions and stakeholder discussions to advance drafting and transactions.
  • Issue resolution: manage workstreams, identify risks, escalate as needed.
