In this role, your primary focus will be on project management excellence. You will manage small, large, and complex environmental projects, including defining scope, developing schedules, controlling budgets, evaluating risks, and implementing mitigation strategies. You will oversee multi-disciplinary teams, provide mentorship to junior and intermediate staff, and foster collaboration and innovation within the group while building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring project deliverables meet their expectations and align with their goals.

  • Quality and Compliance: Ensure projects adhere to corporate policies, procedures, and regulatory frameworks, while maintaining high standards of quality assurance and control.
  • Resource Management: Coordinate technical resources, field programs, and subcontractors, ensuring efficient use of project resources.
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare and review project reports, proposals, and work plans, ensuring clear and timely communication with clients and stakeholders.
  • Business Development Support: Collaborate on business development initiatives, including responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Expressions of Interest (EOIs), and Statements of Qualifications (SOQs).

  • Leadership Skills: Experience mentoring and supervising team members, fostering collaboration, and driving high-quality outcomes.
  • Client-Focused Approach: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust and deliver results for clients across sectors such as oil and gas, mining, power, infrastructure, and government.
  • Industry Knowledge and Regulatory Awareness: Familiarity with contaminated site projects, environmental risk assessments, and remediation efforts is an asset; working knowledge of provincial and federal environmental compliance guidelines and legislation (e.g., CCME).
