The Long Point Biosphere Region is a 26,250-hectare Great Lakes coastal ecosystem designated by UNESCO, aiming to combine biodiversity conservation with community development. It is one of 738 biospheres in 134 countries, including 19 in Canada. The LPBR undertakes projects in Biodiversity Conservation, Sustainable Communities, Knowledge Sharing, and Climate Action.
We seek an independent contractor to collaborate with the LPBR Board of Directors, contractors, and partners to deliver project coordination services, including:
This role offers an opportunity to be part of the ongoing strategic renewal of the LPBR, including diversifying revenue and evolving from a working to governance board. Future positions may be available depending on funding.
