Job summary

Visionpool Business Services Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to provide project coordination and delivery support for a large-scale transformational initiative. This on-site role is located in Regina, SK with occasional off-site work and collaboration across multiple teams.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of IT project management and vendor management experience, plus PMO exposure. Strong communication, organization, and cloud/SaaS implementation experience are valued for success.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of proven IT project management experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of proven vendor management experience.
  • Experience in a PMO environment.
  • Experience working in cross functional project teams.
  • Experience working on an agile or hybrid project.
  • Proficiency with project management software.
  • Excellent written skills and disciplined project-record keeping.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, management, and communication skills at all levels.
  • Experience implementing SaaS/cloud solutions would be an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day project management and coordination activities in support of project objectives, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate project tasks, activities, work packages, and interdependencies across multiple teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure work progresses as planned.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules, work plans, action logs, decision logs, risk registers, issue logs, and dependency trackers.
  • Track, monitor, and follow up on action items, risks, issues, assumptions, decisions, and deliverables, ensuring timely resolution and escalation where appropriate.
  • Support project governance processes, including preparation of status reports, dashboards, meeting materials, presentations, and briefing documents.
  • Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and working sessions; document meeting outcomes, decisions, action items, and follow-up activities.
  • Liaise with project team members, business stakeholders, vendors, and leadership to support effective communication, information sharing, and alignment of project priorities.
  • Assist in the development, maintenance, and monitoring of project plans, schedules, resource plans, budgets, and project forecasts.
  • Support project reporting activities by gathering, validating, and consolidating project information for delivery to project leadership, steering committees, and governance.
  • Monitor project progress against approved scope, schedule, budget, and milestones, identifying variances and supporting corrective action planning.
  • Ensure project documentation is current, complete, and maintained in accordance with project management standards, methodologies, governance requirements, and
  • Contribute to quality assurance activities, including tracking deliverables, and ensuring adherence to approved project management practices and standards.
  • Support stakeholder engagement activities by coordinating communications, scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and following up on commitments and decisions.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of project priorities, deadlines, dependencies, and critical path activities to help keep teams organized, focused, and aligned on delivery objectives.
  • Provide PMO and governance support for large-scale initiatives, including maintenance of governance artifacts, reporting processes, project controls, and executive reporting requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve project delivery processes, coordination practices, reporting, and organizational effectiveness.
