Job summary

CIMCO Refrigeration Inc. seeks a Project Engineer Designer to join our Projects Team in Burlington. This role will focus on designing and detailing industrial refrigeration systems and coordinating across multiple disciplines to ensure successful project delivery.

The successful candidate will create mechanical and electrical drawings, perform site surveys, and support equipment selection, purchasing, and documentation. Excellent teamwork and communication in English are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• 1 to 5 years of experience (training-based).
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit (3D modeling).
• Ability to work with microcomputer and English proficiency.
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork; knowledge of industrial refrigeration and awareness of NH3/CO2 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design industrial refrigeration systems.
• Create drawings of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Perform technical surveys.
• Select and procure equipment and track orders.
• Prepare coordination, construction, and as-built plans.
• Prepare operation manuals and monitor construction sites.

Description

Job Summary:

CIMCO is seeking a Project Engineer Designer to join our Projects Team. This role will be based out of our Burlington office.

Role Responsibilities:

• Development and design of industrial refrigeration systems
• Comprehensive drawing of mechanical and / or electrical systems
• Realization of technical surveys
• Selection and purchase of equipment, materials, and the tracking of orders.
• Preparation of "For Coordination", "For Construction" and "As Built" plans
• Preparation of instruction and operation manuals
• Monitoring work on multiple construction site(s)

Required Professional Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
• 1 to 5 years of experience (depending on the training received).
• Training and / or experience with AutoCAD and Revit (3D modeling).
• Ability to work with microcomputer.
• English spoken and written.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
• Knowledge of industrial refrigeration; screw compressors, NH3, CO2, would be an asset.
• Knowledge of the SAP platform would be an asset.
