Job summary

CIMCO Refrigeration Inc. is seeking a Refrigeration Mechanic in Metro Vancouver Regional District. In this role, you will carry out preventative maintenance for our customer base and communicate potential upgrades.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Refrigeration Mechanic License required.
• Refrigeration experience is mandatory.
• Gas Fitter license and controls experience are assets.

Responsibilities

• Work independently or within a team from a mobile location.
• Conduct preventative maintenance for customers.
• Identify and communicate potential upgrades and maintenance needs.

Job description

• Be able to work on a team or independently from a mobile location.
• Carry out preventative maintenance within our customer base.
• Identify and communicate potential upgrades and required maintenance to customers and account managers.
• Be available to fit into our on call rotation throughout the year.
• Participate and follow all health and safety programs.

Required Professional Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications

• Journeyman Refrigeration Mechanic License
• Refrigeration experience is required.
• Gas Fitter license is an asset.
• Controls experience is an asset.
• Previous experience with ammonia or CO2 refrigerant would be an asset
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
