Job summary

CIMCO Refrigeration Inc. is seeking a Journeyman Refrigeration Mechanic to service and maintain commercial refrigeration systems for our diverse customer base in Alberta. The role includes field work at customer sites and the flexibility to work independently or with a team.

Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety are essential, as you will be coordinating with customers, account managers, and our service team to prioritize maintenance and potential upgrades.

Qualifications

• Journeyman refrigeration license is required.
• Commercial refrigeration experience is required.
• Gas Fitter license is an asset.
• Controls experience is an asset.
• Experience with ammonia or CO2 refrigerant is an asset.
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Be able to work on a team or independently from a mobile location.
• Carry out preventative maintenance within our customer base.
• Identify and communicate potential upgrades and required maintenance to customers and account managers.
• Be available to fit into our on call rotation throughout the year.
• Participate and follow all health and safety programs.
