Job description

Agilus is recruiting for a Project Engineer II in the oil & gas industry in Edmonton, Alberta .

Responsibilities :

• Participate in Invitation to Tender (ITT) development, bid evaluation, and contractor selection.
• Identify & source long lead equipment, supporting Front End Engineering Design (FEED) contractor until equipment is assigned.
• Coordinate the development of the Functional Interaction Plan.
• Coordinate project issue resolution processes.
• Manage change requests & endorse change authorizations.
• Ensure the completion of assigned work scope aligns with project objectives.
• Engage the Project Team and resources to verify design & construction compliance with specifications & standards. Lead the Project Management Team (PMT) in applying project management systems.

Successful candidates will have :

• 10+ years’ experience across engineering, construction, and project management activities.
• Broad experience and skills through multiple function & project assignments (multi-discipline skill set).
• Knowledge of design standards, specifications & work processes.
• Strong leadership, influencing, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and changing priorities.
• Excellent communication skills; fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking). Proficient in MS Office.
